Brian Fawcett, Virtual Clearcut: How Things Are in My Hometown ($4.99, remaindered -- but with an autograph!)
Neal Stephenson, The Confusion: Volume 2 of The Baroque Cycle ($9.99, remaindered)

Fawcett is a guilty pleasure for me. His writing is fairly predictable, but he's basically me plus thirty years. Oh, and with the reputation for more potential crankiness, more publicly, than I've managed. He's from Prince George, a different BC town than my own which nonetheless shares many elements, and he moved to The City for a literary education but remains concerned about Places Other Than The City.
